Blasphemy is shallow Animal is hallowed Talk as cheap as wine is You are very brave now And it rains so long And it rains so long And it rains upon us all And it rains so long The world it falls apart and we cannot become the kids we were And it rains so long The world it falls apart and we cannot become the kids we were

VVVVØ 06:03
I turned the tables on my lovers I broke the magic spell I lost myself in games of numbers I could never win All is forgiven We cannot control the impulse of your masochistic tendencies for the world I’ve seen the wounds of Christ revealed to us The singer fell down to his knees on stage And confessed his faith to the whole damn world In the end what changed I followed breadcrumbs ‘till I found the truth Impossible I know I took a chance on tolerating you Nothing’s forgiven The army’s in control I took a while I made a nest I planted a golden seed in your head I’ve seen the wounds of Christ revealed to us The singer fell down to his knees on stage And confessed his faith to the whole damn world In the end what changed

Anatolia 04:40
Androgynous Pale white skinned girl Owning her own defeats and Her body and your soul Outstanding Success rate Disaster For the polls Teen idol boy falls for pale girl A killing spree that We cannot control There goes London There goes Berlin There goes New York and better learn to swim California

F-I-R-E 04:50
Panic sets in Problems get worse Time’s running out Collectors close in I reached out for help But no hands came back And when we sleep Does the sun never set on our empire? Carries the sound From over the Hills Sad and confused Life of abuse Matches the stairs In our old home In a foreign land Where I cannot go any longer There are no relationships that last once we’re agreed So pass your self importance and we’ll drown in your disease I got a head full of hate mail and heart full of bruises I’ll get eight-hundred emails full of marriage proposals And I’ve met one thousand assholes and they’ve all got excuses And I’ll make my decision once I’ve lit the explosives baby
5.
Colours 04:22
Oh to be sober as a judge As holy mountains stand before us I took my lies taught them to breathe I broke the will of all your friends and now we’re worth a fortune Please don’t ever call me handsome You’d understand if you were me While you’re so happy with the shallow songs on radio I want to sing to you about all the brand new colours I’ve seen
6.
An Endorphin 04:37
My eyes are dry from dirt and I lost my way many year ago I can’t remember what I did to deserve such treatment It’s all blur except for the screams of all my past lives I wish to the gods I’d made a better choice I built a world around a lie so big even I couldn’t see it An ego death so huge I prayed the whole world would hear it Now I’m blinded to it all I know the cause of all the world’s misfortune.
7.
I hold the image of you waiting in the soul like a queen And in the foreground of the picture stands the ghost between I had to tell you the truth before it tore right through me I reach to hold you even distance suits you perfectly My moon Come home soon And though my passions have the violence of an exploding star It seems I'm lucky enough to see how precious you are 'Cause when you look at me with those eyes you could raise the dead And just the thought of you could drown thе noises in my head My moon Come homе soon

about

Jason Priest lives in the dimly lit streets of the New Yorks and Berlins of 1984. Part romantic clown, part “serious artist,” a contradiction of amphetamine addled detective and holy man with nothing to do since Studio 54 shut down. Punk rock idealism and hot disco nights, recruited by the saints of Rock N Roll to make you sweat. King-Kill/33° is six tracks of leather clad emotion exacerbated by alcohol, late nights and quests with no ends.

Midnight Mannequin Records is proud to be re-releasing Jason Priest's first album, King-Kill/33°, digitally with a special bonus track entitled My Moon by Antoni Maiovvi (the man behind Jason Priest). Originally released in 2018, we felt that this incredible album deserved a second life after the success of Priest's most recent effort, Jason Priest Is Missing. The bonus track, My Moon, was originally released in 2016 and sees Maiovvi exploring the sound and style that would eventually lead to the Jason Priest material. We consider this a perfect bonus track as part of this early Jason Priest retrospective.

What's more - both King-Kill/33° and My Moon were released on vinyl. We've secured most of the remaining vinyl copies of these titles and are pleased to offer them together as an exclusive bundle, with digital download included! King-Kill/33° on milky clear 12" vinyl with purple, pink, and black splatter and My Moon on single-sided 7" black vinyl - bundled together for your listening pleasure!
